Case Study: Trellis

Trellis is an online web-based platform where consumers can connect, identify, and explore minority owned small businesses for their consumer needs and give back to their communities. For Trellis, minority groups do not just mean ethnicity and race, but underserved groups including women, LGBTQ+ and people with disabilities.  In a social climate where more diversity and inclusion is being sought after, Trellis aims to shine a spotlight on small businesses that consumers may not be aware of, and promote spending your money locally to support small businesses and minority groups.
